Contribute to GRIMM
Interesting people. Bad weather. Good stories.
GRIMM gives interesting outdoor people a place to tell good stories — and gives ordinary members a path to become those people themselves. Creators, photographers, filmmakers and complete unknowns welcome. Good stories travel further than follower counts.

Member
Anyone who joins GRIMM — goes out, uses Cachefire, turns up, and sends in the odd story. The whole thing starts here.

Field Contributor
Members whose Field Reports, photos, video, routes or lessons get published by GRIMM. Earned by sending in something worth reading — not by follower count.
- 03
GRIMM Creator
Recurring contributors — photographers, filmmakers, writers, guides, riders — who keep making GRIMM-related work and help the community grow.
A normal member can become a contributor or creator. Status comes from contribution, not social reach.
Who can submit
Anyone who was actually there.
What we're looking for
- A story worth telling — soaked, broken, funny, or just honest.
- Photos or video that feel like the day actually looked.
- Routes, lessons, and the mistakes you'd warn a mate about.
- Character and a point of view over polish and production.
Formats we take

- Gear that failed
No rigid template. A fourteen-hour rain report and a three-line gear failure both count. We select the ones that are honest, specific, and worth someone else's time — published as Field Reports, and the best expanded into Journal stories.
What contributors may receive
Earned, and honest about it.
- Publication on GRIMM, with your name on it
- A contributor profile as the community grows
- Early word on equipment drops and Cachefire beta
- Invitations to community days and Firegroups, as they happen
Nothing here is guaranteed as it stands today. As the community grows, contributor opportunities may expand to product testing, event invitations, creator meetups, supported content projects, and paid editorial assignments. We'll be straight about what's real when it's real.
